RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED FOR THIRD
LOS ANGELES ORGANIZING AWARDS

Top organizing and lifestyle experts
Peter Walsh (Clean Sweep, The Oprah
Winfrey Show), Julie Morgenstern (Organizing From The Inside
Out), Dorothy Breninger (Dr. Phil Show, Chicken Soup for the Soul), Linda
Koopersmith (Clean House), Nadia Geller (While You Were Out, Home
Made Simple), Monica Ricci (Mission Organization) and Joyce Dorny
(Organize Magazine) were on hand for this year's Third Annual Organizing
Awards at the Luxe Hotel, Bel Air, California.

More than 150 celebrity organizers, industry professionals, and
members of the public attended the February 1st gala which was
hosted by actress and comedienne Sherri Shepherd (ABC's "The View"),
who humorously shared her personal experiences of working with
professional organizer, Jodie Watson of Supreme Organization.

Eighteen awards were given - six awards for organizing products and
retailers, five awards for organizing services, four awards to organizing
professionals and two awards to exemplary media outlets. A first-time
Special Recognition Award went to organizing expert, Peter Walsh and
The Oprah Winfrey Show for their collaboration on "Inside The Lives Of
Hoarders." Finalists were selected during a two-month nationwide online
popular vote that ended December 31st.

Jodie Watson, the event organizer for the 2008 Los Angeles Organizing
Awards, took home two of the top awards of the night. Raising The Bar
Award which is given to the Board Member who went above and beyond
the call of duty and The Leading Edge Award which is given to the
individual whose actions and/or efforts raise the profile of NAPO and
NAPO-LA.

"We live in an enormously fast paced and demanding world," said Jodie
Watson, Vice President of NAPO Los Angeles. "I wanted to create an event
that truly celebrated the efforts of the organizing professionals who work
so hard to bring back balance, focus and efficiency to individuals and
businesses."

Other industry leaders in attendance included NAPO National President,
Standolyn Robertson and National Study Group on Chronic
Disorganization President, Lynne Johnson. The presenting sponsor of The
2008 Los Angeles Organizing Awards was the nation's leading retailer of
storage and organization products, The Container Store.
